Slept in and woke up by a natural call as we were both suffering from a long long flight the day before. So gotta pack and move to another hotel before the check-out time.

Favehotel Seminyak (HKD1019/ 4 nights) was just a few minutes walk away from the one we stayed last night. There are quite a lot of branches all over Indonesia and the most important thing is, it's cheap yet cozy. The design is pretty stylish. Love the idea of using the picture of Pura Tanah Lot as headboard very much, which gave me a smell of Bali. Though Favehotel is a budget hotel, it offers everything like breakfast and massage, and there's even a bar at the front gate for people to chill at night.

Time for brunch after settling down. Chose a restaurant we passed by while moving this morning. It got a Mediterranean feeling furnished with blue and white wall paint, just right at the corner of Courtyard Marriott. Lucky to have our first meal in Bali in this nice restaurant with panoramic view and relaxing background music. (Rp115000)

Opening hours8:00 am – 11:00 pm

Planned to wander around Seminyak and Kuta on foot and we didn't rent a car today. Even we knew that would be a great exercise for us, we didn't expect that Seminyak and Kuta were such big! Anyway, like the way that we were able to see more and look for hidden gems with our legs.

This guy was gonna stay here to work as farmer I guess.

We decided to go along the beach front and bumped into Anantara. Seemed like a great place with a beautiful beach just right out there.

Stunning street arts and buildings everywhere.

Our first bottle of water in Bali. (Rp10000) That's a huge one! With this price I am only able to buy a tiny little bottle in HK! Bocari was just Rp9000!

We spent a long time walking to the famous shopping mall Beachwalk from Seminyak. Could't remember how far we walked but there were some nice beach clubs on the way and we didn't find it boring walking at all. To be frank, this shopping mall has not much to see. Just some ordinary brands that we could find in HK. We tended to see much more local stuff, hence, we moved on to the Poppies Lane.

After several bargains and we pretended to leave, the price of the hat dropped from Rp250000 to Rp50000, and the face of the owner turned very black yet he sold the hat to us. Haha! See how much the price varies!

Wooden penis can openers were found everywhere.

Just a right time to see Havana Club restaurant after doing a bit of shopping.
Initially we were attracted by the giant meat skewer but we needed to save some space for big feast tonight with our friends. So what we had were just Cesar salad, banana split and Bitang beers. The Cesar salad was quite salty in which we were unable to finish. We ordered the wrong size of Bitang as well so ended up wasting some in the end. Rp190300 was definitely worthy with these big portions of servings.

Havana Club Restaurant

Opening hours: 7:30 am – 11:00 pm

A shop selling postcards was right next to the restaurant. Bought some (Rp4000 each) and felt regretted as most of the shops in other places like Sanur and Ubud were just selling at the price of Rp3000 each. Anyway, that's not a large amount of money but just feeling stupid not comparing the prices.

Walked out of Poppies Lane and the bustling Pantai Road was just there. Some interesting shops were selling home decor and they were not expensive at all. Of course they could be even cheaper to be found in a street market.

Our friend waited us at the Hard Rock Cafe and drove us for dinner. Passed by the Bali bombing Memorial and he told us a bit about the attack happened in 2002.

Then here came the most heavenly meal in Bali. Lucky to be introduced to the owner of Warung Laota, he treated us a big feast with 2 big lobsters served as both sashimi and congee. Four people with four dishes, we tried our best to eat as much as we could but still couldn't finish them up. It's hard to tell how fresh all the food was by words but they were really really fresh! A story about how a Hong Kong guy being successful developing his own career was told and fir real. We finished our dinner very late at night and there were still many people driving here to eat! Could tell how popular it was by the number of crowds.

Our friend drove us back to our hotel and we sneaked out again looking at shops around. Most of them were closed with not much to see. Bought another big bottle of water and this time even much cheaper! (Rp6000)

And that's how much money we got for our trip. Absolutely a life style of being a billionaire!
